Sunday Service: Purpose in the Midst of Exile Part 1 (06.14.20)

In the midst of pandemic and protests, injustice and isolation, many in our nation are suffering a form of exile and are in desperate need of restoration and reconciliation. It's important that we find purpose in the midst of this exile. In Jeremiah 29, God promises a future hope. That those in exile will be brought back. Throughout this sermon series, we will explore how to navigate the deep despair that comes from not feeling at home, and we will look to the wisdom of Scripture to find hope and direction in this intense present cultural moment. As always we will rest on Christ's promises as He directs us always seeks to bring us exiles back home. Watch this weeks Sunday service to hear the first part of this new sermon series, sing along with another hymn sung by the voices of the people of Zion Lutheran, and hear a special rendition of the doxology sung by one of our youngest members.
