Zion Lutheran Church Celebration of 75 Years

Join us for an open house of the sanctuary, designed by Pietro Belluschi. This is a unique opportunity for everyone in our community to experience the inspiration of a Belluschi sacred space. The open house will begin with a short organ concert by Zion organist Floy Berentsen. Tony Belluschi, Pietro’s son, will give a presentation on his father’s understanding of sacred space and its impact on Zion as a Mid-Century Modern design. Brian Fleener, an architect congregant, will share what this sanctuary has meant to the congregation. A reception will follow with display of original blueprints and other memorabilia.
