Gathered Around the Promise in Word and Sacrament

Lutherans at Worship

Worship is our response to God in thanksgiving and praise for His many blessings.  We gather together for worship at Zion to celebrate God's love and to equip and encourage one another in Christian faith, life and service.  In worship we sing God's praises, listen to His Word, offer our prayers and financial gifts to spread His Gospel and to support one another for sharing His love in the world today.

Zion has chosen to stay with a traditional setting for worship, combined with a timely message that is personal, practical, and positive.  Everyone is welcome to worship with us, and we pray the experience will be a blessing in each one's life.

The Ministry of Music is a high priority in the life of Zion. The pipe organ, hymnody, choir and handbells play a significant part in the worship, gathered around Christ-centered Word and Sacrament celebration.

The Sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated on the first, third, and fifth Sundays of the month.

Zion Lutheran features an excellent Ministry of Music, including organ, choir and handbells.  If you enjoy singing or a ministry of music, you are warmly welcome to be a part of this special dimension of Zion's worship.

Contact the church office for details about our music ministry at (503)221-1343.
